How to make Chicken Pulao:
Ingredients required for chicken pulao:
- Chicken - 400 grams
- Onion - 1 Large
- Cardamom -2
- Clove - 2
- Cinnamon stick - 2 ( inch)
- Bay leaves - 1
- Shahi jeera - pinch
- Turmeric powder - half tsp
- Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
- Salt - as required
- Green chillies - 2
- Curd/Yoghurt - 3 tbsps
- Corriander powder - 1 tsp
- Garam masala powder - half tsp
- Corriander leaves - half bunch
- Mint leaves - half bunch
- Oil - 2 tbsps
- Rice - 2Cups
- Water - 3 Cups
Method:
- Take chicken into a bowl and add chilli powder,salt,turmeric powder,corriander powder,curd,garam masala powder corriander leaves(chopped),mint leaves(chopped).
- Mix well and keep it aside for minimum 30 minutes.
- Put a Vessel on stove and add some oil and whole garam masala and add sliced onions, green chillies and fry till onions turn into golden brown.
- Add marinated chicken and rice and mix well.
- Add water and cook it until the rice chicken cooked well.
- Chicken pulao is ready to be served.
